His unique blend of improvisational and Malay grooves is a ‘trademark’ in almost all the songs he writes! Traditional music doesn’t sound any fresher whenever he is behind the drums. Purnama has a definitive creative vision, and he always ensures that music is a spiritual and motivating force in his life.

Purnama is a member of Mutesite, a popular Math Rock band signed to Japanese label, Must. He is also a member of Darmas, a pop-ethnic festival act!
